Loved the rooms. We had multiple rooms booked for a big group of us, and they were all luxurious and spacious. The whole hotel had a lot of charm. Perfect location as mentioned in earlier reviews, 5-10 minutes walking distance to all the attractions/sites. Breakfast was tasty even though the spread was not too large. There is rear entry for airport transfers as the front of the hotel is located on a tramway street, so just let the hotel staff speak to the driver so that they know to drop you off where it is easy and accessible.

This is my 2nd stay at the Lalahan, and I enjoyed it as much this time, as I did my first. On arrival, I was upgraded to a room in the new hotel wing: really spacious, spotlessly clean, with a small fridge, (which was really nice to have) and a little balcony which provided a great spot for early morning coffee! The breakfast selection is superb, and the staff really go out of their way to assist with advice, recommendations, directions, and generally making one's stay a memorable one. For me, the location couldn't be better! You're spoilt for choice with excellent little restaurants and coffee shops. It's a short walk from the metro station, and the train station, to the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Markets, and some of Istanbul's most renowned mosques. As you step out of the door, you're immediately become part of the hive of activity which is Sultanahmet - the sights, sounds and smells, which - fortunately - never leave you. Istanbul remains one of my favourite cities to visit, and I would recommend the Lalahan Hotel as a great value for money accommodation, to any potential visitor.

ME and my mrs stayed at Lalahan Hotel during the first week of June 2022. This hotel was recommended on online blog (hidden deep in google search). I am glad I booked this hotel, here are the reasons why: - Hotel is clean and rooms are comfy, love the beds and bathroom. - All staff are super friendly, made us feel at home. - Different breakfast menu each morning. - All main attractions at walking distance. - Room are well insulated (despite in a room facing main road, we had minimum noise level from passing trams). - I will stay here again. - You can tell the positive thought process behind the management of this hotel. Thank you Lalahan for making our visit to Istanbul memorable.

The staff members where great and helpful. The hotel it self is not the best you can find, but is near by all attractions, as Blue mosk, Saint Sofia and etc... it is walking distance. if you go for city tour, the hotel is at a good location. if you go with car, please be sure to contact the hotels, so they can arrange you a space in the nearest parking, as the hotel do not have one......

Location was brilliant. Close to everything, if you could not walk there the Metro was very close by. Reception person warm, welcoming. Room was good. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Good value for money

the location is excellent. near all main tourist sites. the staff were outstanding helped us so much. very polite and caring. went over and above their responsibilities for us.
